Hi chaps,
Sorry if this isn't quite the right folder. I'm in the market for a 28mm scale Viking Longboat for Saga and other Dark Age escapades. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I've seen the Gripping Beast one, it looks nice, but it's out of stock. I'm not too sure about the Revell one as it looks a bit... thin. The Laser Dreamworks one looks a bit blocky. Basically I'm a fussy bastard, or I'm just after various options to peruse if anyone has any!
Cheers in advance!

I also wrote an article about the conversion.

I know nothing about it but it looks rather nice, althoe somewhat pricey. :(

The old glory one isn't bad either.

Laser Dreamworks could be modified to be less blocky. The guy who runs the business is really approachable and might have some suggestions too.

Dean at Wabcorner did an Old Glory one up quite well.

This one is a shocker in my opinion the clinkers look plain wrong.

Warbases had a prototype on their stand a couple of months ago, planning to bring it out early in the new year?

There's also the old Aurora plastic kit which has been re-released by Smer.
It used to be a reasonable kit, and in a Smer box should be a reasonable price.

Have you considered scratch- building ?

I did the Revell one as well, scales just right, 1/50th.
