Title: Removing Paint From Resin Buildings
Post by: Mr.J on December 04, 2012, 11:29:02 PM
I have been painting some sci-fi buildings pretty unsuccessfully and have decided to scrap the current paint jobs and try again. What is the best/safest way to remove acrylic paint from resin buildings? I'm in the UK so if you suggest brand names UK ones would be best.

Thanks

Go to your local auto parts supply - ask for a quart of Lacquer Thinner. Apply with a small brush and the paint will bubble - effective -yes, safe - ?  Works well on resin but will melt plastic.

There's a thread on FPS and other ways of fdoing it, simple enough though pray it on, let it sit a while and scrub it off while still wet.
