Another masterpiece from the club member Malc T. less than a week to create is the ACW USS Cario 15mm scale scratchbuilt, more photos also of other stuff scratchbuilt uploaded on the website.

Very nice build and painting.

I do have one question though, why are the deck planks not weathered grey like the sides?
Is that how wooden ships weather? Please excuse my question as I am not very knowledgeable about thongs nautical.

Decks of ships would be 'Holy stoned' (scrubbed with a pumice stone) while the sides would not.

Yeah looks good to me as well. It was a pic of some wood then another pic of some wood and then BAM a pic of a completed scratchbuild. I like it a lot. Very well done indeed.

I think 5 in total he has built so far,he was saying his next project would be ACW trenches
