Title: Festive T-34
Post by: Wilkins on 13 December 2012, 09:55:56 PM
This is one of my first attempts at a 28mm vehicle so decided to try something simple (avoiding German camo like the plague). The tank belongs to my dad and has been sat in white metal for as long as I can remember (think upwards of 8 years) so I've decided that for Christmas I'm going to paint his armour for him (this consists of the T-34, 2 SU 100s and a Stug III). So in this Christmassy spirit I decided on some whitewash for the tank. Comments and criticisms welcome!

Photos aren't amazing, so apologies for that!

Looks awesome!  And yes, 8 years is getting up there.  I have this rule:  Painted and combat ready 24 hours after purchase.

No, I have never obeyed that rule. ;D

I think it looks good.  Always glad to see old mini's that have been in the lead pile a while get some painted love.
