Anybody know of any models out there suitable for X-Wing scale Death Star Laser Turrets? I want to do a Trench Run game to demo X-Wing, but think it needs the turrets as well as the Tie-Fighters.
Looking for the high surface towers and also the turret heads from in the trench too.

Check on the spaceships section on PMT, there was quite a lot of talk about them a while back.
cheers

Not certain on scale for you, but the Grendel 28mm towers might suit:

I would suggest contacting Warbases and seeing of they can do something for you in lasercut MDF. The towers and turrets are both quite boxy so should work quite well in the medium. You can detail the surface with a mixture of laser etching and appliqué bits glued on.
Old Crow do barrels and some nice resin turrets as well or you can bodge something from bits of brass and or plastic tubing.
Magnets can hold the turrets in place while allowing them to rotate and be removed.
I was thinking about getting them to do some turrets for me in the new year, maybe even the bunkers to mount them on as well.

Easy scratch build, kitbash one like the originals and then make a mould?

Thanks everyone, some great suggestions.
Considered kitbashing something, but don't really have the skills or the time to make anything good.

I think Ainsty does something suitable:
Turret (http://ainstycastings.co.uk/product_info.php/cPath/60/products_id/611/osCsid/9ca91a0f5c3952bd4cc2ff40a4209c77)
Tall turret base (http://ainstycastings.co.uk/product_info.php/cPath/60/products_id/610/osCsid/9ca91a0f5c3952bd4cc2ff40a4209c77)
Low turret base (http://ainstycastings.co.uk/product_info.php/cPath/60/products_id/609/osCsid/9ca91a0f5c3952bd4cc2ff40a4209c77)
They can seem a bit pricey, but I can assure you that they are solid chucks of resin! 8)

If you don't mind cardstock models, have a look at Fat Dragon's Starship Attack (http://www.fatdragongames.com/fdgfiles/sci-fi/e-z-battlefields-starship-attack-fdg0131)...

Have ordered some of the combatwombat ones. The Ainsty and Scotia Grendel ones are all a bit big for my needs.

SpacemanSpiff made his own. I say have a hack at it and see what ya come up with. :-)

Check out Brigade Games new 15mm bunker just posted on their website, good price and spot on in terms of look from the original film, scale wise it should do the trick as well. Just scroll down a couple of shots, two options, single and double barrel mount. :)

My combatwombat towers arrived today. On initial looks they are great. I'll put up some pics when I've got some decent light.

Hi,
you've got this:

It's 3D printing. Expensive if you want a lot...
I personaly made my own in scratch.

Company B do some which bear a passing resemblance to the ones in the film, $9 for one & $16 for a pair.
