Goblins, Hobbits, Gandalf, & Gaming Board are all GREAT LOOKING! The Head Honcho Goblin is really impressive, both the mini & the paint job....I love the colors you chose for Himself & his smaller cohorts. The Gaming Board looks like tremendous fun to play on.

While the Goblins don't fit with my biased impression of Goblinoid physiognomy, I've developed a genuine liking for the little & big suckers...VERY COOL minis. Should they be released separately, it will be hard to resist picking some up. That aside, VERY WELL DONE!

Don't usually hang out in this part of Alex's place, but if this is the caliber of work usually found...  :o

I suppose I best not come back lest I be further humbled.  ;)

I get enough of that on VSF.  lol

Well done!

Well done! The character figures really look like the actors (as treated by the make-up people), so very nice sculpts from GW in that regard.  I really like the results you are obtaining with them.  Thanks for letting us see your efforts.

Excellent work...the figures are very nicely done, and the bases look great. What I liked in particular was Bilbo's blue sword...most appropriate!! Thanks for sharing.

I don't think he used any Goblin Town sets to make that board, I think it is scratch built.

Great job, especially on Gandalf & the Goblin King!  Love the Gobin Town concept for wargaming.

Here's an update:
Firstly, I painted the goblin town walkways:

I also finished twelve more goblins and Grinnah the Goblin:

I made this terrain board, but halfway through I ran out of static grass.  >:(   Oh, well...

I also did Bombur:

I think he turned out OK, but now that I see the picture, his trousers look quite sloppy...    :? I can assure you it looks better in real, natural light though.

Of all the dwarves I've painted so far, I think this is my favourite one, Bofur:

Of course, comments and constructive criticism would be very much appreciated!

The walkways look TERRIFIC...the grey wood tones you chose are perfect.

Just when I've got my urge to splurge on the new Goblins under control, more photos of the Lads pop up to tempt me...they are OH-SO-COOL though.

The Dwarfs look WONDERFUL; your color choices are GREAT; i.e., they all seem to go together without looking all the same...Bofur is my favorite also. VERY WELL DONE!

I have to agree with everyone else - these all look great. I now need to pull my finger out and get my set painted.
