Hi folks,
I was thinking of making a nice Irish warband from the new SAGA supplement. Does anyone know if they will be getting their own set of dice, or do they just use one of the existing dice patterns? If so, which one?
Thanks!

No new dice needed:
Raven's Shadow list use:
Franks - Continental (formerly known as Normans)
Strathclyde - Celtic (the "Welsh" ones)
Norse-Gaels - Runic (Viking Dice)
Irish - Gaelic (same as used by the Scots)

Great to know! Now, one more question. Who has the best sculpts for irish wolfhounds? I kinda like the Warlord Games ones:

But there are also some dogs made by Crusader:

Foundry:

and Gripping Beast:

Anyone have suggestions on which ones look the best/most realistic? Any other manufacturers make nice irish wolfhound type dogs?

I think the GB dogs are the best, but to be honest all of those you have mentioned are good sculpts. I have some of the old Alternative Armies hounds in my Irish army, but they are HUGE - lovely models but somewhat heroic!

Sadly there isn't a human model next to these beasts in the picture, but suffice to say that they virtually see eye to eye!

I have a slightly larger pic of the Gripping Beast ones -

I don't have any of the leaping ones though, so there is another pose available.

Thanks for adding those pictures! I do like the GB ones, I think they actually look nicer than the WG ones. Only problem is the GB ones are a bit more tricky to get in Canada, and will cost more if I need them shipped here. I do like the handlers for the Crusader ones too. Think the Crusader and GB dogs would mix well in a unit together?
