Hi there,
yesterday night we had a nice game played in the 1880's Afghanistan, with british column attacking a fort defended by Afghan Regular troops.
We have to recognize the ability of the commander of the Third Royal Kabuli Dragoons, which in a daring dash, managed to attack and destroy the british base camp, stopping a rather successful attack to the fort defences.
The game has been played using Battles For Empire Rules, figures in 15mm.
Some more photos and the battle report can be found here!

Hello,
Thank you! Have a look at the battle report. This is the very first time in my gaming experience that inexperienced troops make such a dashing move!
As the referee I put the british home base such for aestetic purposes, but when my fellow gamer commanding the afghan regular cavalry had the idea to attack the british base camp I could not resist.
So I told him he would have won the battle if he achieved such an objective!
British players where not very happy at the beginning, but then everybody enjoyed the actions of the battle.

Hey, a great game - and in 15 mm! Tried to go to your blog but it took too long to load. Can you say where you got the buildings? Very nice.

please try now to connect!
The buildings belong to my club, I will ask and let you know.
