Seen Django Unchained last night from Tarantino. It's a typically great Tarantino movie and you can see that he has a love for the old spaghetti westerns. Not sure how much you could get from it for gaming other than maybe a black bounty hunter but i recomend it.

Yes, it got a great review in The Guardian. 5 stars and lots of superlatives, from the usually mealy-mouthed Peter Bradshaw.
Am aiming to see it at the weekend all being well... :)

How high does the violence scale go?

How high does the violence scale go?
Lots of fake blood from gunshot wounds, especially in the end sequence (the walls run red). Hand to hand is minimal, nothing too over the top apart from dogs mauling a slave and you only see quick bits of that, same with the wrestling match.

Thanks, I see it is "only" a 15 so it can't be too badly over the top...

Words escape me - bloody brilliant!!!!!

Saw it this afternoon - superb!
I thought Taratino's last film "Inglorious Bastards" was only good in places (mostly the opening scene and the cafe/bar scene), whereas "Django" is good/very good all the way through.

Its a silly film but enjoyable, in a fashion, for all that.
(Mostly) cartoon violence & cartoon characters
