I started painting them. I'm quite happy how they're turning out but they are a bit too clean though. Probably I'll add some stowage and mud splatters.

Looking good! Ages ago I wanted to tart up some old mice as grav-tanks but never got round to it. These look top class.

On a side note, who/what are the dome-helmet guys at the bottom right of the last picture, and where did you get them from?

I just read that the Trash Bash this is going to be based on a computer mouse. You should look into it.

thanks guys! The dome-helmet troopers are Cobalt Mercenaries miniatures sold by Black Hat (http://www.blackhat.co.uk/online_shop/index.php?cPath=121_182_183&osCsid=473a6e4e7c35c34d50a661cfa6cf8ab1).

I'll have to check out this Trash Bash, any links?

Splendid idea and great execution! As it happens, I just happen to have a dead Microsoft wireless mouse... I guess it will end in use after all :D

still very cool!

Like to know something: what is this weird little detail of a "round-cage-like-generator-thingy" in the last picture backside of the tank?

best wishes

Looks like the lid of a felt pen to me, similar though not identical to these:

Lovely work there area23 by the way! Excellent trash-bashing!

:D Yup, it's a felt pen lid. My daughters consume loads of them and I confiscate all the lids of the empty ones. It's amazing how much variation in lids exists!
