Title: Review of Rebel Miniatures Modern US 15mm
Post by: Damien on 14 January 2013, 01:51:27 AM
Hello everyone, this is my first post in the 'Post-War and Modern Adventures' corner of LAF. Over the holidays there was a post somewhere advertising a 25% off sale at Rebel Miniatures (http://www.rebelminis.com/index.html), as I have always wanted to get into modern gaming (I am more of a fantasy geek) I decided to take the plunge. I bought some 15mm modern US figures and they arrived last week.

 I bought 'Modern US Infantry Command Pack'. The pack contains 21 miniatures and costs 10.99$ (before the discount) and contains 1 x Platoon Leader 1 x Platoon Sgt 1 x RTO 1 x Medic 2 x Squad Leaders 5 x M240G MGs 6 x Riflemen 1x SAW Gunner 1 x M203 Grenadier 2 x Javelins.

I also bought the 'US Special Forces pack'. It contains 20 miniatures and costs 9.95$ (again before discount), it contains various poses along with a spotter and radio man.

Those are a lot of minis for the price especially with a 25% discount, so how do they look? Pretty sweet.

Here are some pics of them along with some FOW minis for comparison:

The Rebel Minis are slimmer than the FOW figs, much more realistic in proportions and very nicely sculpted with almost no flash. All in all I am very happy with the minis, now all I have to do is paint the little buggers  :)

Let me know if anyone has any questions, or want more photos.
