Yes the wagon is from 4 Ground and I intend to use it in scenarios from darkest Africa to crossing the prarries in America. It was bought from the excellent North Star who also make the male figures, the wife is from Redoubt and the oxen are Perry,s. I took advantage of their xmas sale to buy Chris Peers " Death in the Dark Continent" and Too few to fight" rules the latter Im interested in for Fr. & Indian wars. In building these wagons I,ve tried to "sit" them down into the ground as befits their weight. I may add a canvas tilt and reins to finish them.

Looking dashing! :-* Will you go for a wagon train or a single wagon in distress type of thing?

It's a little bit Boering...
(I'm sorry, I'll get my coat...)
Seriously, the 4Ground wagons look great, I keep meaning to get a couple as scenery and transport, they have a number that would fit comfortably in most of the eras I game.

Considering that this time last year I was looking for wagons I,m wondering if maybe I,ve over egged the pudding, sits back takes another sip of a rather decent little merlot, reassures himself that he can justify every purchase. I,m toying with the idea of including a Flashy figure as Wagon Master ala " Flashman and the Redskins " - now where can I get my hands on a wagon load of tarts -------------- spooky it might have been the man himself speaking.
