Title: Axis & Allies Marder Repaints
Post by: ancientsociety on 16 January 2013, 01:31:40 AM
Did a repaint of some very cheap Marder Ms for Flames of War. I think they came out rather well (the odd greyish-white spots are a trick of the light).

How did you deal with the bendy barrels?

Bought mine in 2 lots of 5 each for about $7 per lot from a Hong Kong seller.  :P

I didn't (which is why two of them are covered in netting). I figure for an entire platoon under $10, I'm okay bending them back every so often.

Great repaints and great blog. What size are A&A minis? 15mm? 10mm? They look interesting if they are a decent size, I can see a game table filled with these little guys.

Any of the version 2 (any set with the years in the title) vehicles and infantry are 15mm. Version 1 is all over the place.
