No sign of a release date as far as I can see but I imagine they're gearing up for Salute like they did with their cavalry sets.

Melee Weapons - 6 different right arms armed with spears, 2 with swords, 2 axes and 2 maces. Options for a 2h sword and a 2h axe as well as musician arm and standard bearer arm. Considering all the weapon sections, you'll find a total of 12 spears, 4 swords, 4 axes, 4 maces, 2h sword and 2h axe.
Crossbow - 6 different sculpted couple of arms with crossbow. You can build up to 12 heavy foot crossbowmen from the set.

Helmets look a bit big don't they?
Otherwise they look really good to me!

Have these on the "to buy" list. :)

If my eyes don't deceive me, there seem to be various sizes of helmets there? I know very little of the subject, but weren't some of them pretty big anyways, especially ones four jousting (or on horseback anyways)? although why one would choose to wear one on foot? Perhaps just due to necessity?
-
Yes, there's variety in the helmets but some do seem to be on the too large side of things. Dunno if it's the angle of the pic but the in the first pic of built minis, in the first row on the left, the helmet seems to be way too big.
Just check pics of real helmets of the era; Sugar Loaf, Great Helmet, Barrel Helmet etc, big but not that big.

They posted a new painted Teutonic on their facebook page.

Nice
-
Yep, that's pretty tasty alright.
-
I have to say I do like them. Some of the heads do look large but not overly so in my eyes. They look like they paint up a treat too.
-
Wait... so how many figures come in the box?
All of the 'and/or' made it a bit confusing. lol
-
somehow it seems an army of teutonic children. That's just me, probably! ^_^

I really like these and will have to get some. Fantasy purposes though.
-
Yeah, they look really good, I might get a box or two!

Anyone else thinking A Song of Ice and Fire?

They look sinister and they are dressed for winter.
Give the leader a cloak of human skin and you got yourself some Boltons. lol
But I am going to use them for Black Numenoreans!

Most excellent idea! Some reinforcements for my army of darkness. Never thought of that before you said it! :D

This is what the LAF is for, isn't it?
Sharing ideas and finding inspiration. ;)

Aren't they a bit scary for men of the White City? lol

Huh? Admittedly some of the Teutonic helms are a bit much, but from the sprue those look like either the horns etc can be clipped off or just not used. I also don't plan on using the cloaks on the basic infantry. Might use some for some more heavily armoured men to go with my Rangers.

They are a bit much, aren't they?
That is what I like about them!
You are right about the horns, Fireforge made them deliberately easy to snip off.

Already working on it! Kitbashing these, Perry WotR, GB Viking plus select metals added from Perry, Claymore, Black Tree to get the variation of armor styles that fit my vision of the different wealth/aesthetic differences between the houses.
Starting with Lannister, Stark and Greyjoy, using variants of Saga and Dux Britanniarum.
Now I'm waiting for the Templar infantry because I need those helmet variations.
-
Already working on it!
I hope you plan on posting some pictures.

Yes indeedy. Might get some work done this weekend. My real work has been all-consuming these past two weeks.

Just appeared today on Facebook.

Fur cloaks from Teutonic foot. Check.
Hooded cloaks from Templar foot. Check.
Stark and Greyjoy, here we come.
-
I'm quite liking those hooded heads. Shame you only get 4 per box. Perhaps Fireforge will sell the command sprues individually on there website like how the Perrys do.
-
Apparently Teutonic and Templar foot knights should be out by the end of the month? Pre-ordered two boxes... Also, I noticed Battleflag has new transfer sets for chivalric orders & Knights of Jerusalem, Knights of Lazarus, Livonian brotherhood etc. Hopefully more will appear in time, but looks good already.
-
I hope to pick these figures up at Historicon from Architects of War. The amount of new stuff I purchase will be related to what I can unload at the flea market.
-
Those hooded fellas look great.
-
They don't look bad.
But I think I'd've been more excited about them a few months ago.

we are sorry for the delay in the release but it is for the moving to the new warehouse :(
-
Oh, it's nothing to do with the delay. I was just still on my 28mm ASOIAF kick back then. ;)
-
Excellent stuff. They do look very dynamic 8).
Darrell.
-
*sniff, sniff* I'm smelling more parts to an affordable bretonian army methinks...or better yet a medieval army with a better rule system.
-
these are cracking! love em! for fantasy purposes!
-
They are indeed excellent and will go fantastically with the Feudal Sergeants.
