Title: First League for Pulp Alley (Updated Jan 21/13 - League Finished)
Post by: Tenz on 17 January 2013, 03:03:38 PM
Hey guys,

Jet (a fellow LAF lurker) and myself have decided to give Pulp Alley a go this weekend. I figured I would show you the start of the league I am creating.

Introducing the leader of my league, Vladamir Vrex; The Crimson Professor.

The plan is to take the Bastion of Science perk, and the professor will be cunning based with wealth and a few other abilities. The professor will be more of a supporting role with his inventions and gadgets. In theory that is, we haven't played yet, so we shall see how well my plan unfolds.

Thanks for viewing.

Yikes, that doc is dripping with menace. Excellent paint job!

Focusing on a leader’s action skills is certainly viable. Specifically, if his minions can run interference then he may be free to move around and complete his evil scheme (plot points).

I'm really looking forward to seeing how the game goes for you and Jet.

HAVE FUN!

Hilarious. I just posted the photo of my league (Capt Grant) and never noticed this until I was finished. He does look menacing, I agree. After taking your higher scores for Cunning, Finesse, and Dodge, I think you should go with Brawl, just to represent the nasty substance in that hypodermic needle, not to mention that robotic hand. I imagine him using that hand to peel back the door on a safe so that he can get at the secret formula hidden inside. He looks great... in a "evil take over the world" sort of way.

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the kind words. I finalized the stats on the professor and I think he is going to be a hoot to play. I focused on Cunning, Finesse, and Brawl. As the Professor would sometime needs to hold down his "patients" while applying his "gene therapy".

The Professor is always plotting his revenge on that meddlesome Cap't Grant.......It was the Liberators that foiled  his plans for an army of Skelebots to take over the eastern world!

"Grant will finally feel the needle driving deep into his veins! Muhaaa MUhaaaa MUHAHAHAHAHAHA....." The Crimson Professor

Cheers,

Tenz

Very nicely painted. You did a great job putting this league together. I really like including pets/animals in my leagues as well.  :D

Thanks, they were a lot of fun to paint! I'm in process now finding other miniatures to fit my a skelebot league. I'd have the Professor as the leader and a bigger Skelebot (as a side-kick) filled with Skelebot 1000 and 2000 models.

I think it would be quite cool :-)
