Hi folks! (and sorry for my english...)
I play a skirmish rules i writed myself called "Age of Violence". If you read french, you can download the rules on http://ageofviolence.wordpress.com/
These are my warbands for this game... It's a generic game, so i can use every kind of fantasy miniatures to make cool warbands. I love vintage ral Parthas minis, but i painted a lot of Alkemy and Confrontation minis too (there are french skirmish games...)
I Hope you will enjoy my painting works as i enjoy yours! ;-)

Lovely paint jobs - the Ral Partha stuff looks great 8)

Once more you've provided us with some WONDERFULLY painted minis to draw inspiration from &/or to drool over. GREAT WORK!
All these lovely pieces have got me checking out what Ral Partha Thingies I have lying around my Vault of Pack Rattiness...there are quite a lot.
-
That's some really sharp painting. ;D
-
Love it! Your knight is tits! :D And where did you get that sweet ass Centaur? I need one! Welcome to the group! :)

And where did you get that sweet ass Centaur?
There is a shop in my town called "Le Vieux Paris" who sells technical toys, electric trains, rpg books and miniatures from a long long time ago... When I was a child, i bought my first Ral Partha miniatures in this shop, and 20years later, the minis are still there, covered of dust, in a box in a corner of the shop... :-*
Sometime i go back to "Le vieux Paris" to buy one or two, and that makes me feel like Im 12 again... ^^

I have to say, I'm pretty unfond of elves - but your blue clad guys are really neat! Would love to have those in my collection, I'm envious.
-
I Painted a new Ral PArtha elf for my game... A kind of swordmaster.

Great paint jobs! I had a go at using Google Translate to read the rules in English. I just skimmed them but they look interesting!
-
Thanks
Im not qualified to translate it myself, but its a very simple system with fun fight rules... ;)
-
Love your painting on the Ral Partha Elf and the rest of them.
-
Hi folks!
I painted a barbarian (from Rakham) for one of my skirmish warband...

Thanks William! :)
-
Really nice paint work. And who can't not like the Ral Partha minis?
-
Lovely painting :-*
-
The Barbarian & his Feral Friend are OUTSTANDING! You have the touch with your flesh & fur colors. VERY WELL DONE!
My only critique/advice would be to use a thinner mix on the base edges for a smoother finish.
-
Hi folks, thanks for your comments&critics...
I painted these 1987 Ral Partha Gobelins for my skirmish game... I know some of you like vintage figs... ;)

I thought I had seen just about everything Ral Partha made...it's nice to be proved wrong. The Goblins are quite a departure from the usual sneaky stereotypes...a pleasant change & a FINE paint job. WELL DONE!
-
Great stuff, William!
Some lovely new additions to your collection.
:-*
I dont know how you can contain yourself in that little store that you have found.
I would be tempted to try and buy everything if I found somewhere like that.
-
I can't... I spend a lot of monney in that shop since i was a kid... ^^
-
Great looking warbands some lovely miniatures and paintjobs!
-
somehow I missed this topic the first time... still some comments :)
My centaur (i got an other one waiting to be painted...)
Isn't that a Planscape Bariaur? Lovely model and paintjob!
I painted only 30% of my collection... :'(
Pah, You're way ahead of mine, I painted around 1% or less (if I'm lucky...) Still, collecting makes me happy, so it's fine for me :)
-
Isn't that a Planscape Bariaur? Lovely model and paintjob!
They're called "armanites", an old AD&D monster, a kind of "devil cavalry"... I got the other one to paint.
