Have assembled and painted up the first elements for an American army in the Vietnam War.

Hello wargamer1972, can you give us a few details on the minis? What company makes them (Picco armour)?, how difficult were they to paint? and finally what rules are you going to be using? I ask because would like to buy some 1/600th scale minis (2-3mm?) from Pico armour (http://www.picoarmor.com/pages/home.php) but do not know what rules to use with them.
As per your minis, they look great, love the helicopter and the M113 the best.
Cheers,
Damien

Nothing but admiration for undertaking such a daunting task. 3mm.......that is so tiny.

Outstanding :o
But all I can see with my eyesight is static grass lol
-
3mm? Does that even exist? o_o If I played those, I'd lose all my minis in the first week!

Oh dear, I'm not going to get into yet another scale :-[

I am not waergamer72 but they are the awesome 1/600 from Oddizal Osmy available from Pico Armor and Fighting15s. They are really nice in person and reasonably priced.
My only comment is about the basing, I would not use static grass because the usual ones tends to dwarf the miniatures in that scale.

Yes I bought them from PicoArmor.com. On the static grass I thought about that but I wanted them to have a jungle look to them. I might try smaller flock when I base up the cobra helo.

Great job! I love this scale for larger unit actions. I have modern US and Iranians and a good start on 1973 Israelis and Syrians.
The minis have amazing detail for the scale and paint up very nicely.

CptJake, if you have all those minis/armies please start another thread and post them. I really want to get into this scale and would love some inspiration.
