hi, i am pretty new here and thought i would share some photos of my AWI project, this is my latest regiment representing the Green Mountain Boys or Warners Additional Regiment, i got the idea from the superb Tarletons Quarter blog as i find it very inspirational, hope you like

Well...as someone reporting in from the Green Mountain State...I have to say that the Green Mountain Boys are looking very nice indeed!
they look like some of the re-enactors we have around here...though much slimmer... lol :) ;D :D

Nicely done. My closest friend is a Vermonter. Didn't know they fought in the AWI. I should probably ask him about that. I know there were some very colourful characters in Vermont during the 18th and 19th centuries though.

thanks for the compliments, i will get banners for my troops soon from GMB designs possibly but would be nice to track down their actual flag

That just bought to mind the rather rotund sergeant at the start of Gettysburg. He must have been eating the whole regiment's vittles.......
