I made a Tzeentchian chaos chariot:

I think the inspiration is pretty obvious although I also think I've put my on mark on it... If you haven't seen Admiral Benbow's thread, about beasts from the golden age, go have a look. :)
Not a lot more here on my blog:

Fearsome Battle-Sheep! :-*

As a Fellow Fan of Mega-Fauna you get a VERY WELL DONE from moi! The modeling & brushwork are WONDERFUL!
-
Thats a really nicely done piece. I'm getting ready to try and do something similar and its harder then I thought. You have any pictures with it next to other minis for a size comparison?
-
That reminds me of "Bored of the Rings" in which the riders of Roi-Tan rode merinos into battle... lol
-
That is a beautiful piece. I would love to see in game pics!
-
It could do double duty as a weird war II fig for new zealanders. very cool
HEY!! Actually... Fair call, just don't attach it in any rude way
it sure is a pretty sheep though

Well, I hope I will have some at a point.
Originally I bought a lot of Chaos stuff for a convention game I wanted to do: 4 warbands of chaos are raiding the same little hamlet in the Empire at the same time.
It would be a massive loot fest, where the warbands would be fighting each other and the city guard of the little hamlet (not far from Bögenhafen) probably.
I might still go ahead with it. But convention games aren't high on my list these days. :)

I like it very much. Great idea and well painted, too.
Looks like you had some painting hours by vikotnik, your rusty effects look really familiar to me :)

Haha! Not a chance. I painted rust like this for ages. lol
It's very very simple - vermin brown (hardest part is to find a bottle... as GW doesn't make it any more) layered on boltgun metal. Different washes, more vermin brown and then a bit of silver drybrush.
vikotnik probably starts the other way around. lol lol

Yes, really easy, very effective and looks top notch!
:)

What's not to love about a giant chaos battlesheep*?
Lovely job, painting, modeling and all. 8)
* If you're using it in a game, and someone kills it, do you get to say "You sunk my Battlesheep!" :D
-
Great idea & execution! And a lovely rust effect as well, though my favourite part has to be the somewhat demonic looking eye.
The golden hooves instantly made me think of some poor chaos grunts having to carry the giant nail polish bottle of doom to every battle, but that's mainly down to my occasionally hyperactive imagination and not meant as criticism.
-
BAAA-baric :), lovely stuff. Great (if crazy) idea and brilliant execution.
Cholly
-
A giant sheep charging on my unit! Automatic sanity points loss! lol
Great original work, seriously.
-
Bloody brilliant, you Crazy Viking!
:-* :-* :-*
I remember this from your 'current ramblings' and it is great to see it finished.
Bonkers, but great!
:D
-
Crikey! Coming from the town of the Big Merino,I heartily applaud, lovely work :-*
-
Their foes must stock up on mint jelly, just in case.

Awesome!

Ho hum... well I didn't really speed up anywhere. Haha. But now I've finally gotten the crew done.

Absolutely smashing, and fantastic modelling and painting! That inspires me to think again about another "beast" for my collection with a "big band" on board ... 8)
