To make some better terrain pieces for the Facility and Machinery plot points in our Pulp Alley games, I am using Pegasus Hobbies #4911 Chemical Plant -- http://pegasushobbies.net/catalog/Peg.-Gaming-Accessories/c2/p104/%234911-Chemical-Plant/product_info.html
The kit is fairly decent and gives you a lot of flexibility. I decided to make four bases that can be placed together or spread out across the table. I just finished glueing it together, so here's how things look before any paint...

Looking good,
You seem to get a surprising amount of terrain out of a single box, I like the outhouse you've added, where is that from?
Look forward to seeing them painted up.

My compliments.
Well done!

This is looking absolutely great, more photos please when painted?
-
It's a really nice set, have only eyed it before some sci-fi terrain in mind but seeing it in your pics, it's actually very suitable for pulp as well. I guess I need to put that on to-be-purchased list.
Btw, where is that water-pump from?
-
That's a really useful little set of bits - I could do with one myself. Will have to see if I can lay hands on one before I'm putting on a game in 2 weeks time.
-
Hmmm, looks nice :)

This might lend itself well to the Federated troopers and the minions packs from Crooked Dice. Bit of a Blake's Seven / James Bond vibe here I think. Nice piece of work!
-
It's funny. Ever since I got into Pulp Alley I've been looking at this exact set for the exact same purpose. Can't wait to see yours painted up.

Thanks for the comments.
@ Pocoloco & Gharak -- the water pump and outhouse are from an old west toy playset. that's about all I can remember about it - the box is long gone.
I can't wait to get these new pieces in a Pulp Alley game, with the major plot point way up on top for folks to fight over. lol lol
HAVE FUN!

Looking forward to your game report, should be fascinating!

Nice use of a decent kit.

I just did a quick bit of big-brush work. Nothing fancy, but I think they will work for some Pulp Alley terrain. :D

Mila is in the background painting some miniatures for our new Mummy league --

Looking really good!

Amazing what a wash can do......
-
Great stuff!
:-*
Had ignored this before as I was always thinking of it as sci-fi type scenery.
Ideal for Pulp and Strange Aeons too.
Must consider getting some.
Thanks for the tip!

Very nice terrain. I've looked at these over the years and prevaricated.
And I bet I'll do the same next time I see them on the shelf :?
