Title: BS3 'Water": Prizes, Prizes Prizes!

So sorry about the delay, but here they are: the prize list for Build Something Contest 3. Overlord and I have decided to overrule a previous statement and let all four finalist pick one item each from the list, except Blackwolf who also gets to pick two. Or to be exact, the potato is his whether he likes it or not.

Once Blackwolf has decided on what he wants, Zafarelli ges to chose from the slightly diminished list and so on in the following order:

1:s place Forest Loch by Blackwolf 
2:nd place Nymph Pool by Zafarelli
3:rd place Catalina PBY by JOHNNYTODD
4:th place Pyrate School by Andym

Item 1. A potato Because you always know where you are with a potato. sorry, already spoken for.

Item 2. Reaper miniatures fish. Not easy to find use for but good looking and very much in theme.

Item 3. Snowy field, a.k.a. 1 by 1.5 m2 piece of white acrylic/polyester felt. Got one just like it at home. Convenient and looks rather good with a few snow topped trees atop it.

Item 4. Brigade Games River Launch. Perhaps not exactly the 'African Queen' but will pass for the 'African Lady-in-Waiting'.

Item 5. Woodland Scenics Instant Water Just add water. (or is it heat?).

Item 6.Copplestone Huskies and sled. Ever had a whiff of a real mutt on a strict diet of dry fish? These are better.

Item 7. Copplestone Polar explorers. Wrapped up nicely.

Actually, it pretty much is the African Queen, in almost every detail. It's a lovely little model, I have one. I'm sure I didn't get it from Brigade, though. Did someone else used to own and sell it?

I definitely got this one from Brigade. They may have purchased the moulds.

Just trying to remember where they got it. It definitely used to be sold by somebody else. Was it the same mob that sold off their ranges to other firms? The one that used to do dinosaurs, and they sold their African animals to North Star. I just can't remember their name.

Huzzah! I'll have the African Queen, please (and will have to re-watch the movie some time very soon :))

Andy, if you're interested in the boat, too, let me know. I might be persuaded to step back in favour of the Instant Water.

Yes, thanks to Hammers and Overlord for hosting this competition. I enjoyed watching the other projects come along as much as I did building mine :)
