Title: Essex Parthians Scale?
Post by: Prof.Witchheimer on February 11, 2013, 11:16:31 AM
just realised Essex has some quite nice looking Parthians:

Though they're apparently 25mm. Any idea how they are compared to the Foundry&Co?

I understand this base comprises both Essex and Foundry models:

In case the picture doesn't work, here's the source (http://miniatureminions.blogspot.de/2008/02/later-achamenid-persian-25mm-bbdba-army.html). If that's anything to go by, some of Warlord's and Old Glory's stuff might work as well. Whereas A&A, Bearsden and Gripping Beast would be too big. But that's an educated guess at best. Most likely there are better informed people out there. ;)

Thank you! That helps.

Has someone by the chance proper pics of OG Parthians?

Essex 25s were very large 25s. Some of the ones I got were almost 30mm.
