Title: Bordino in 25mm
Post by: wrgmr1 on 11 February 2013, 06:43:03 PM
Hello Gents,

I'm new to this board but not gaming. Here are some pics of our group "The White Rock Gamers" last big game Borodino early this year.

Lordy that's a big freakin' table!  How long...30 feet or more?  :o

Good lookin' game.  I'm terrified to imagine how long a turn took!  :D

Thanks Gents,

You are correct, the table was 29 feet. We played 15 turns starting at 10:30 am and finishing at 6:30 pm with a one hour break for lunch so 7 hours of play.
Thus approx half an hour per turn. Rule set is Shako 2.
We will be doing the same battle in 15mm at the end of March.

This is not the biggest game we did. Wagram had a 36 foot table and approx 6700 miniatures.
Borodino only had approx 5900.

It's tiring but a lot of fun.

Cheers,
Thomas
