The first instalment of the Dead Man's Hand Chronicle, a weekly series leading up to the release which outline what the game is about. Later issues focus on specific game rules, miniatures, and the range of pre-painted MDF buildings. Online now.

Cool. Just had a read through. Sounds very promising. :D
Will the miniatures and rules be available at the same release date in April?
-
Yes, and buildings.
-
Will be watching how this develops.

Sounds good to me. I'm sold on card activations (any skirmish game with say 15 or less models per side has no excuse not to use it!). I like the idea of your storyline based scenarios. I'd imagine there will be plenty of rules to conjure up these scenarios (or will a BUNCH be provided in the game?).
Overall, looking good..and thankfully different than my own rules. lol (I admit, since I don't play a lot of various rules sets, I was afraid I'd read yours and find them to be identical and then I'd cry). :D

Will there be a ubiquitous Kick starter on this? or is funded in house?
Either way, I'm on board :D
-
It is all funded, Cultist, and we have extra figures and buildings sketched for the months after the April release.
Elbows, there are a bunch of 4 storylines in the book, and it will be fun seeing what storylines other folks come up with!

Looking forward to seeing these at Salute maybe?
I am also interested to see the miniatures. Will there by any chance be mounted versions of each figure?

That would be perfect :-)

There's a batch of foot models, then another batch of foot models, then...who knows.
If the project is so successful as to make mounted models, we'd love to do one of each of the foot models on horseback.

We really need a replacement for the now dead LoTW. This might be it. Any plans to add Indians to the mix?

It's not because it is "dead" that you can't play it anymore if you like this set of rules.

Yeah, I never liked LoTOW as a ruleset myself. There will be a gang of "Renegade Indians" in the second batch of DMH figures. They won't be Plains Indians, rather somewhat "Westernised" native Americans armed in a similar fashion to other gangs.

Issue 2 is out on Monday - http://www.greatescapegames.co.uk/dead-mans-hand - and discusses cards in Dead Man's Hand.

Excellent. :D
Are the cards going to be printed separately? Therefore no need to cut them out of the book.

Dead Man's Hand Chronicle issue 2 in now up. This article takes a look at how cards are used in the game. There's also a preview of some of the accompanying range of models. http://www.greatescapegames.co.uk/dead-mans-hand
Ray, the book comes with the deck of cards.

Superb, thanks. :)
