Greetings Ladies and Gents,
I'm new to this board, found it while on TMP. I've been there for a few years now.
I've been gaming for 39 years, so I'm not a newbie in that.
I game with the White Rock Gamers, 13 or so of us who game every Thursday.
Rule sets played:
Shako 2, Armati 2, Rapid Fire, Battles for Empire, Black Powder, Fire and Fury, Bolt Action and Disposable Heros.
We've put on some big Napoleonic games, Wagram, Austerlitz and Borodino, with upwards of 6700 25/28mm figures. We also play the same game using 15mm figures just for fun.
Here's some pictures of my latest project, late war Calpe Prussians. Excuse the bases which were not finished when I took these pictures.

Well welcome to the forum. I'm sure you will find plenty of kindered souls here. I used to come up to the Vancouver BC area a lot when I was younger. Every year I tell myself I'm coming up for the game convetion up there. And every year I seem to miss it. Do you ever come down this way for Enfilade?
-
Hi wgmr1, welcome to LAF. There's certainly a goodly amount of inspiration for your games here - enjoy!

Hi Herby,
Yes, our group usually has 7 or 8 of us go down to Enfilade each year. We are the guys in Blue golf shirts with a small gold Eagle on it. I'll be there this year.
Thanks for the welcome Gentlemen!
Cheers,
Thomas

Hello from the Peace River Region of British Columbia, and welcome to the forum. It's nice to see another Canuck here. :D
Cheers.

Welcome! I'm just overseas in Victoria, but I'll be over in April for Trumpeter Salute in Burnaby, and running a Russian Civil War game there!
White Rock Gamers usually have a good showing at Trumpeter, as I recall. We should do some sort of LAF real-life meetup during the convention - there are several other LAF members who usually attend.
In fact, it might be about time to start up the Trumpeter Salute 2013 thread over on the Conventions & Shows board here, so coordination can begin!

HeyThomas good to see another WR gamer on the forum

Hi Wirelizard,
Yes, The Trumpeters are putting on three games this year. A Rapid Fire WW2 Gold Beach D-Day game in 20mm.
28mm Viking run lots of fun beer and pretzels game.
Chris Leach is putting on a Colonial game using his latest version of Battle for Empire 2.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
Look for me in a blue shirt, beard and glasses. Skinny little guy.
Cheers,
Thomas

Welcome! A lot of folks from TMP (myself included) have washed up here, so you should feel right at home.

Wow a group of that size is quite good. I'm often lucky to get two or three players out for Strange Aeons or other skirmish games. I'm envious!

Allo & Welcome.

Thanks Michael,
I've got a whole lot more to paint.
Cheers,
Thomas
