The DK Dwarf figures run around 20 mm to top of the head :-* and most of the rest of my dwarf figures (except the ones on or about to go on auction,) run about 25 mm to the top of their heads/helms. :)
I am looking to re-arm a unit or two of these with appropriately sized matchlocks or very early flintlocks, if they exist, for a force with a small contingent of black powder personal weapons. ::)
Over-sized weapons are not an option. :-X I have plenty of the older Ral Partha arquebusiers/muskeeters for another of my dwarf armies where they look fine in that army so I am not trying to recreate those units. lol
Suggestions for 20 mm or "small" 25 mm weaponry sources would be appreciated. 8)
Gracias,
Glenn

Thunderbolt Mountain extra weapons are quite small and very well sculpted. Only a small pic on the site...but then they are for dwarves :D

$12 for 80 weapons is also pretty good.....
Pics of your collection please....I love those old DK figures. (http://www.thunderboltmountain.com/products/3096-medieval-hand-weapons)

Would any of the weapons from the Warlord Games ECW range work?
People may have spares of those.

Take a look at the extra musket/carbine that comes with the plastic Wargames Factory WSS Infantry. True scale sculpting so should be small enough to work with your Dwarves. Available from the box breakers on eBay.
