Evening,
I apologise for being a goof and stinking up the page with those little black boxes with the white X's in...
Ahem, anyway...I wasn't sure where to put this so I stuck it here in WWII. The long and the short of it is this, my local club has recently embraced the new(ish) Bolt Action ruleset to such a degree that it has not only supplanted FoW but also inspired a couple of club members to their own creative solutions to the Bolt Action pin marker dilemma.
Anyway, said club members came up with a rather nifty solution...
You all know of either 'Chad' or 'Kilroy' popularised during WW2 well they liked that as an idea and took it to it's logical conclusion...well logical if you're a middle aged man and you play with toy soldiers like wot we do...
Gentlemen I give you the 'Wot loads of pin markers'...

These are all 'in game' where my AK and FJ Ramke chappies got a bit of a dusting, each time you take a pin you just turn the dice behind 'Kilroy' and up the points.

As you can see they're a normal 28mm size so fits anywhere your minis do.

So far my mate has done Brits, Yanks, Russians and Germans...
He'll have some at Cavalier in Tonbridge Wells this coming weekend at the show http://www.twws.org.uk/cavalier2013.htm (http://www.twws.org.uk/cavalier2013.htm) on the Red Knight Wargames stand.
I know he's keen on feedback and we're supporting him as we're keen to see him do the same for Saga and Black Powder.
He's not selling them yet but I will keep you posted on when and how much.
If you have any questions or are interested please PM me and I'll get Tony (officially the nicest man in the world - unless he's just close assaulted an AFV and come off worse) to drop you a line.
Old Goat.

Thanks for the help today gentlemen, three years on here and never posted a picture, partly lack of a decent camera but mainly a complete lack of technical 'grip'...
Don't ask me what I do for a living....
Best, Goat.

Okies, now the pics can be seen.
Nice idea and works well it seems. Haven't played Bolt Action myself yet but those might become useful at that point when gaming commences.

Hi this is Tony apparently the worlds nicest man just letting you know that said pin markers will be available at Cavalier this weekend from the Red Knight War games stand. This is the start of an expanding range of resin cast gaming products including a range of 28mm stowage items to go on vehicles so i hope you will support us with your feedback and maybe even a purchase.
Cheers,
Tony. 8)
