I have decided to lauch a Kickstarter campaign to expand the rules for Nuclear Renaissance. The expansion is called The Tome of Tridlins, and can be found here:

Nuclear Renaissance is a unique game for tabletop player in that it was built around club or social play. The main premise was to make a game that included rules for multiple players to participate without bogging down. 5 players can get through a game in 2 or 3 hours. The core mechanics are simple. What makes the game come to life is the gang creation rules.
You can download the core rules for free off the Ramshackle Games website. What the new book adds is loads more options fro making your gangs, plus full campaign rules.

There is also an interview with me over on Nerditis where I talk about the rules, if anyone is interested:

Hi Curtis,
very interesting, played this game a few times and had a lot of fun. How much will the shipping costs for the books to the mainland be (in this case the Netherlands)?
Regards,
Za

All the Ramshackle Games products have shipping included, so the price you see is the price to your door. The kickstarter campaign is offering the book at £13 instead of the retail price of £15.
Im glad you like nuc ren. This book finishes off the game really, and lets you do pretty much everything we could think of.

Made the £20 pledge, I have been wanting to get the core rulebook for long time :D
-
Buying in. Bought the first book and inspired me to write and publish my own rules. Nuclear Renaissance is a good buy and I love the minis.
-
I'm in ;D. Good luck Curtis.

Hey cool! Have you got a link to your stuff? Id love to see it!

Not to divert your thread, but beyond a Facebook page, I have nothing to show just yet. I have not published the rules just yet, hoping to do so by summer. I'm sure you can appreciate the amount of work that goes into get stuff written, edited, playtested, and that's not including layout and art. That's why I liked you Nuclear Renaissance. Nice artwork, good layout, and personally I think you have some the best vehicles rules. Wish I had them first. :)
I will be contacting you eventually about using some of your miniatures in pictures in my book.

Yeah, it took me 5 years to get this version of the rules finished!
Im happy for you to use images of my models as long as you give a credit! Id be happy to supply an illustration as well.

You are a gentleman, sir.

Funded! Congratulations Curtis.

Just pledged, I need an excuse to start cobbling together some post apoc vehicles!
-
Wow cool! I think NucRen does have pretty strong vehicle rules. I always though it was a bit dumb having a post apoc game with no good vehicle rues to it!
-
Nearly finished constructing my first behemoth, based on a pound shop tractor, a ton of plasticard and all of my super-glue, I'll start a separate thread this evening so you can have a gander.
Also I've upped my pledge to include the vehicles and mini set!

The Ramshackle Games Kickstarter has just over a week left and its doing really well. Thanks to all the backers so far!

As a final push, I have uploaded a sample of the book, the mutants section. It has all the rules for using mutants in Nuclear Renaissance, plus some illustrations and a short story by Gareth "Gadge" Harvey.
I haven't quite met the goal of £1200 to get the rulebook reprinted, but I have decided that I will go ahead anyway with this. This means I've added a whole load more of the rule book and expansion combo rewards to the campaign, and will extend this further if it sells out again.
I have also put up the reference section, which has all the tables and gang rosters in it.
Both can be downloaded from the Ramshackle Games downloads page, found here:

and the Kickstarter campaign can be found here:

Of course when the rewards arrive ;) But I have no doubt about that.

I wish this would have done a little better...

Yes, Im really happy with the results. Got the books funded which is the main thing. Not more work than I can handle and even made a small profit!
