I wanted to let everyone know that I recently placed an order to both of the above game companies (Crooked Dice Game Designs and Sgt Major Miniatures) for their Simian figures. Both packages came well packaged and both arrived very quickly after placing the orders. Both companies have produced figures that are compatible with each other, so you have the ability to add a variety of figures to your "Planet of the Apes" figures in 28mm. The Sgt Major Miniatures figures are a bit thicker in size, and their heads are much bushier, but they both produce different types of figures. I hope that either or both companies produce some leader figures, chimpanzee figures and other Orangutans.

Cheers! They seem to be popular, so I'd be up for doing some more - both leader and mounted - but it's finding a spot in the release schedule :)

Eureka do some apes with guns but the look a little bit less like a man dressed as an ape, and more like an ape dressed as a man.

I've ordered from both companies and found both to provide excellent service. I do like the look of the CD simians but can't think what I'd use them with! Nort ape men for Rogue Trooper? hmmmm

"Take your stinking paws of me you damn dirty fancydress ape" just wouldn't have sounded right.

How about a failed government experiment when they tried to put the zombie strain mixed with human DNA in some ape fetus?

Yep.
Plus I want to see unadulterated comparative photos, because I don't have any need for these at all, because I could not possibly want to mix Planet of the Apes models with Star Wars wookies and make a them a native on say, Venus in VSF, or to add to my Fallout models/terrain as a very different effect of the FEV...
