Hey All,
The new KS for Season Two of Zombicide is due to go live today!
I've been hard at work painting up my horde, and I'm down to my last 26 Zeds. But I've been dying to get to the Survivors, and I finally broke and did Phil. He's still a WIP, but feedback is always welcome. The set is for me, and certainly not on par with guys like Stone Cold, but I hope acceptable. I plan to base the set all on acrylic bases, so that's why they're rough.

FYI: Just saw the update, KS is backlogged, so the page wont be available most likely until Monday...

That's a work-in-progress for you? With my skills I'd have called it finished long ago. Looks really good.

Cheers guys! I finished him up last night and am starting on the last 24! WOO HOO!
Halfway through I changed the blood-style, so I need to return to the first 65, and base those up on clear, but I expect to be playable in a couple of weeks and 100% by May.
I'm very happy with everything so far! Some thoughts on the GG Figs. Overall, I think they're fantastic. They straddle that ever so elusive line between detail and ease to paint. If you just spray them white and do a wash, you can at least see the detail and get playing. One can even use different color washes...
But while the minis have lots of detail, its not so much that it significantly slows down the painting. Hey, 100 zeds are 100 zeds....
The new KS is due to go live as posted by GG yesterday. 11am EST. (1700 CES)
And without further comment, my finished Phil. Feedback as always is most welcome. :)

Tough-lookin sonbitch!

Great stuff. What size is the clear disc you've based him on? Where did you get it? I think it's a really nice touch for a gaming piece.

Top notch finish, TBC.
Wonderful!

Very nice TBC :-*, I hope to see him live in the near future ;) (and the painted zombies).

Great job! He looks like he had some hard time. Looking forward to seeing more of your work and I fully agree on how nice these models are to paint.

He looks great, the clear acryl base ist also a good idea!

Cheers guys!
The bases are 25mm, just the size GG uses for Zombicide. I got them from Fenris Games in the UK. If you're in the US, Litko makes them. GET THE THICKER ONES! If you get the thin disks, they are just that, thin disks. If you get the thicker ones, they are clear bases. They weigh next to nothing, so the thinker bases helps here as well.
The real trick is the glue. No super glue except for lead figs. Get from Paizo the #33 Glue. They ship to Europe for very little. It will melt different types of plastics together.
For lead, you'll need to pin and use Maxi Extra Thick glue. Here is what I did. I pinned the mini through the foot, but I made it short enough to go into the base, but short enough not to come out the bottom, otherwise you run the risk of scratching your boards with the sharp pin.
Let me know if anyone wants to know anything else I did!
