Title: Newly Finished 1/56 Master. Italian M13/40
Post by: CompanyB on 05 March 2013, 06:46:16 PM
Just finished this and it's being sent off to JTFM for casting.  This is the latest in our extensive line of Italian vehicles, the M13/40.

Like the M3A3, this is a combo of 3D printing and traditional scratch building.  About 50/50.  We've added some features to the kit that should be cool all around for gamers and scratch builders, customizers.

The interior is partially detailed.  Not as extensive as the M3A3, but enough to show some interior details with all the hatches open.  And this is possible because the kit will also have all the parts needed to make the M13/40 Command version, as well as the standard tank.  The command version uses a new hull top with hatches that can be displayed open or closed.

An additional feature are the removable engine covers, with engine detail.

Spare wheels are removable as well to provide additional modeling options. The step handles on the hull will be separately cast in metal as well.

The model of course goes well with our Italian crews and decals sets.  Now it's time to finish the T16 and start another model!
