Title: WEG Star Wars Miniatures
Post by: Sterling Moose on 09 March 2013, 09:04:39 PM
I know I've seen a couple of requests on LAF from gamers after some of the WEG Star Wars miniatures.  Just to let you guys know that they are still available albeit until current stocks run out.  The guy that has them in the US is:

Martin Fenelon
martin.fenelon@snet.net
WWW.Luftwaffe1946.com

I was chatting to him today at Cold Wars, he says he has a couple of totes of figures left, and a few vehicles (though not many).  He's more than happy to ship to the UK, though beware that USPS International rates have recently gone up.

Hope this helps you guys out

He is the gent i speak of when peeps ask about a source of figs. This is the contact info i offer.
But for the "while supplies last" or "have a few totes left" lol those totes must be damn huge. Been the standard response for like a decade now.  :-)

Unless he has changed his pricing since last i looked, and pretty sure he hasn't, it is a buck a fig. Though i dont recall prices on the mounted figs or the Speeders and the like.
Just send out a quick email to him and ask for pricing. :-)

Am I to understand you mean the OLD 25mm Star Wars figures, such as seen here?

It's impressive that he has "totes" full of them left, though I expect a lot were cast back in the day.  I have a few and they're very nice.

If anyone gets a response from Marty this time round let me know as he's not the quickest of repliers at times.

Well I know he has had some troubles in his family but they should be sorted by now. (at least thats what he told me)
When he does respond he is very friendly and helpful but I dont seem to get a final figure on the figs I want.
I know he has them he confirmed it but somehow we never get past okay give me price....

The resale haul was too good at that price to say no to. THey will be going for about $4 a fig at this stage with more for the big bits. Or fixed lots with a cheaper overall price, those that expressed an interest already I will try to fulfill your wants.

Hello there!
Am i Late? ( as usual)
i'd be interested in some of them....

HEllo there!!
i got response from Mr. Fenelo, at 12th April, a couple of mails, explaining the prices and so on. After that  i lost contact with him. as i read on this topic that maybe it's hard time, i expected a few weeks, that turned on months...
Actually my emails shows a message of failure delivery :(

Anyone's got more luck?

Just wanted to post as the Fall In convention, part of the HMGS cons, was this weekend. I saw Martin again, as well as at Historicon in July. Spoke to him at each time that peeps have been trying to and fro to contact him. He is eager and willing to fulfill orders. At times though he sends out responses and doesn't hear back. So maybe there are email issues either way. For those that have tried to contact him i can only offer to say try emailing again. Check the SPAM filters of course. Try a secondary email if a quick phone call is not possible.
