Title: Two Weeks Until Hotlead 2013!!!!

TWO (yes two, count 'em 2) weeks until Hotlead 2013 in Stratford Ontario at the lovely Arden Park Hotel.

So far we've got 49 games, including some big bring and battles for the Warhammer 40K and VSF players, plus 5 DBA tournaments.

Confirmed dealers are: RAFM, Crossed Swords, WS Hobbies, Five Arrows, Kura Creative, Game Chamber, Meeplemart and J&M Miniatures.

We'll also have our popular Bring and Buy on Saturday with 10% going to charity.

I will be hosting 3 of those 49 games on Saturday.

1) 9:30 am…The St. Francis Raid Pursuit – a FIW skirmish game featuring the debut of my third rule set: Buckskins and Rangers.

2) 2:00 pm…Forsyth's Daring Convoy Raid – a War of 1812 skirmish game featuring my second rule set: Red Coats and War Hawks, released last year at Hotlead

3) 7:00 pm…The St. Francis Raid Pursuit – a repeat of 1) above

Rule sets will be available for purchase throughout the day for all three sets:
1) Green Jackets and Voltigeurs…Napoleonic skirmish rules
2) Red Coats and War Hawks…War of 1812 skirmish rules
3) Buckskins and Rangers…French Indian War skirmish rules

Phew, fighting against the clock today.  I just managed to finsh the last command figure for the refight of Ridgeway tonight.

Been there and back again.   :D

Unfortunately due to time restraints, I couldn't stay as long as I wanted but it was another packed house. Cheers James on another great show.

Nice to see Chair face and Sterling Moose as well.

 :) sorry you couldn't stay for longer. Sterling Moose's Battle of Ridgeway was splendid. I played in the second session. Hitman's FIW and War of 1812 games went well. Chairface's gunboat I think survived the VSF battle Sunday morning.

Weekend went well. Just tidying up around here and catching our breath but my lovely admission desk girl is surprisingly upbeat and energetic.

Nope, chairface's splendid creation went to the bottom of the briny, along with many other fine vessels.

One year I hope to stay the weekend and play some games rather than just raid the bring and buy.
There were some marvelous looking tables on Sat a.m. particularly Mongols & Mausers, Setting the East Ablaze and White snow, black death to name a few.
