Title: Looking for tiny Fairies
Post by: YIU on March 12, 2013, 10:05:24 PM
I am looking for tiny fairies or pixies in 6mm, 10mm or 15mm to create a diorama. Any manufacturer making these or at least small female creatures I could convert by adding wings ?

I believe Ral Partha and/or Reaper might make some tiny "swarms" of such creatures.

Search for "fairy" at Reaper's online store (http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/fairy).

The little under-half-an-inch-tall individual figures at the bottom of the search screen will probably be what you want. They're culled from the various Familiars packs.

I believe you can get some from the new Fanticide range. They're tiny, and quite cool... you can get some on mushrooms and riding squirrels.

Fae Brownies:

Taken from the Alien Dungeon website, but Eureka make them.

I too am interested in something similar, though only 6mm or 10mm (or smaller!) will work in my case.

That last photo is perfect in scale, but those look like a lot of male brownies. The book fairy from Reaper is nice and small, but you can't have a book with each figure.

I'm actually quite surprised that no one has ever really made "tiny" faeries that scale with 28/30mm scale.

I still can offer most of them (those with the hoods are gone). Those 3 females with wings you see are still available. PM me if interested. The coin displayed for comparison is 20mm diameter.

The Fanticide ones look perfect.

Pendraken makes fairies in 10mm too but I couldn't find any picture.

Reference AC22.

The swarm is great too. I found the Micro Games one but I don't need 30 fairies.

Michi I PM you : we have a deal I guess.

In the current Ral PArtha Chaos WArs Kickstarter there is a Stretch-goal of tiny undead fairies, ut it's noy unblocked yet. Not sure if they could be of use to you.

Well that's my jaberwocky dreams crushed. It's odd since i find links to the site everywhere, sometimes posted as recently as a couple of months ago by people claiming to have purchased things from it.

Checking WBWM, it seems to have been down since at least mid 2014.

Also, just to torment you: That Jabberwocky is awesome and really reasonably priced. 6 euros. (https://web.archive.org/web/20130704131803/http://www.warfairy.net/)

Thank you, you wouldn't know which set or army pack they came with? or possibly how old they are?

I bought a bunch of Revenant Elves and Elven Nymphs some years ago and got a number of the figures shown plus some cherubs. I don't recall whether they were randomly distributed across those packs or whether cherubs came with one faction and the woodland type folk with the other though.

Like Citizen Sade mentioned, they were packed randomly into the Elven Nymphs blisters.
The Revenant Elves had the Cherubs.

Would start a "Wanted" thread on the bazar, if you need some ;)
