Gents
just to advise i started a new range of figures for the Spanish-American
War and the affiliated conflicts...the first release will be a Dynamite Gun
Teddy Rooseveldt and his rough riders......
attached rough green of a rough rider ( left foot and uncrumpled hat sorted!) the Dynamite gun is done and will be available at Salute
wll post a picture as soon as i can

No, that's too close to what we call my son Jorge, who is known when dressing unsupervised to combine shorts and socks with sandals, the socks pulled up to his knees. Cruelly, at times like this his parents call him 'o gringo'. His sister on the other hand is pretty much 100% Brazilian in terms of dress sense and her general manner and bearing.

Those dynamite gun crew look like they would be an easy convert to Rough Riders with rifles. The kneeling pose loading his rifle would be a great figure.

Thinking about ordering something when you get back but it looks like I am on a (unlikely) winning spree (Could be ugly budget wise) on Ebay today. I guess the regulars who consistently outbid me on certain types of miniatures are out of the loop.
But I really do want to get my hands some figures for "in the lead" comparison purposes to the Spanish, Cuban Guerillas, and Moros I have currently.

The guy never stops does he. I've been collecting gringo 40mm for 18months and the standard is superb - so how do you get the same standard in 28mm. well gringos certainly does. I can't believe the detail and sculpts ged turns out.
If you've been dithering and thinking and holding back - DON'T. that's what I did. But as soon as the figures came through the door - a fantastic post system from gringos by the way - i knew I'd made the right decision.
So a great new range and some great sculpts - don't you just love those artillery pieces.
Another great range ged. Well done
