They look very nice :).

Gamecraft Miniatures are interesting...they make very (read: extremely) simple kits....but sometimes that's what you need, specially for Afghanistan style structures. Did you just use a textured spray paint?
I like the result you achieved!

They are simple but I feel for 20mm it still works plus, like you said, it works for Afghan buildings. As for the texture I just brushed on elmer's glue and then sprinkled on sand. After that dried I spray painted it then dry brushed to give it depth. I tried to go with a small grain of sand but ended up spilling the container on the portion in the above photo resulting in a very rough texture.

here are all my buildings together:

Great buildings and a even better set up. :)
Did you order from the States or is there a UK distributer?

Well done!

I use the 15mm kits for my Central American gaming and though they are simple out of the bag, you can also add a lot of detail using model railroad parts. As you said, it just depends on what you need.

I had to order from the US

hi, they are incredible,
vepaminiatures will distribute in a few time buildings like in the image,
Can you tell me how you made the surface?
because we make by petition some buildings, but they are hand made, and the price is bigger
-
the way I did the texture was to simply spread glue along the surface and then sprinkle sand then paint

I don't know if in your country are also Chinese shops with a lot of toys, but in Spain there are a lot, and a new toy (truck) come with some grass, it's more or less 4mm and 20cmx20 wide. it was 5 euros. I'll try to put the photo. (the truck is horrible, but the grass is incredible)
