Title: Least dead looking zombies?
Post by: robh on 15 March 2013, 10:13:38 PM
Any ideas on which ranges of Zombie figures could provide some not quite dead yet sorts.

I am after modern(ish) looking figures shambling or standing but without rotting body parts, missing limbs and ungainly postures. Any pictures would be great.

Not sure if these would be any use, but I have two ranges on the grekwood miniatures site. They are "early stage" zombies. Check out the website www.grekwoodminiatures.co.uk

You could always try the plastic zombie from Studio Miniatures.

They have sepeate arms and heads, so you can convert as you please.
Can't speak for that set, but I have some of their Nazi zombies and the detail is just stunning.

Here is a picture of the sprue.

i have some of the studio ones and they're great IMO, couple of rotting parts but really only heads. So you could make them all without as they have enough options.

Any civilian figure would work. its just how you would paint it.

Thanks guys. The Studio plastics look ideal, hopefully they get the website issues sorted soon.....and sell the figures in smaller batches than the 60 figure box.

Hasslefree sell some of the Studio Miniatures including single sprues, might be a good way to test the placcy Zombies.

Glad to help!
They are reasonably priced, but 60 is quite a lot.  lol

I am actually looking for zombies that I can paint and use as (barely) living NPC characters in Spinespur. But as bandit pointed out above civilian figures could work and I love your "survivors" so will certainly be after some to mix in.
