I took a chance on an Ebay "looky likey" tank which is based loosely on a Vickers mk3.
Got to say for the price it is very nice!!!!
I modelled a hatch onto the main turret (+commander) as well as a new main gun and vision slits. I added some MG's onto the small turrets as well as some view ports. I then painted it in Anglican League colours.
I'm pretty pleased how it has turned out.

have several of the smaller one but not this one.

Looks brilliant. Fantastic paint job

Wonderful, quite a beast. And your additions/modifications bring it up to the next level, which is hiked up by your beautiful paint job.
So no army shot yet to offer for us? ;D
-
the colours are so vivid! great job Pappa! :)
-
Love that blue and the weathering :-*

I saw those on Fleabay. Too "fantasy" for BoB?
Lovely job by the way

I bought the notIndiana Jones tank for my Cairo pulp, couldn't resist.........
-
Excellent work :)

So where does the driver sit? And how do the crew get in and out of their tank? I see only one hatch.
-
Thanks for the comments. I've gone ahead and bought a not " Indiana Jones tank" as well ( my BUF need some armour.....)

As it isn't a "real" tank I pretty much don't care. I bought it as a cheap force filler for my army. ::)
"... very impressive professor. It meets all the requirements we specified, good armour protection and some formidable fire-power. It is also under the 18 ton limit we set and is well under budget. One small question, how do you get into it?" Colonel Douglas Finch taking charge of his new Forbes & Layton Mk2 Medium Tank

Fair enough. I don't really care. I'm just being pedantic because I've been building my own set of similar tanks and I've spent a lot of time trying to make them as realistic as I could.

Picked one up a couple of weeks ago myself and have been wondering what to do with it......now I know! Looks great.
-
@ Moif: You could very easily put a second hatch directly behind the turret if you really wanted. ;)
-
Quite big and blue. Don't want to be pricking any feelings, but don't many tanks also have a hatch underneath? I think I like the driver most, he can barely see out.
-
That's one damn handsome tank...and very VBCW.
Great job Pappa!

Great looking tank.
Love the color and the detailing.

Thank you all for your comments.
I've just finished adding some detail parts to a "Not Indiana Jones" tank from the same seller. I should get it painted over Easter, this time for my VBCW B.U.F. force.
