Title: Otherworld Adventurers and Dragons
Post by: Gibby on March 29, 2013, 10:41:29 AM
If anyone isn't already aware, the Otherworld Adventurers from their Indiegogo campaign are up for pre-order now. They look amazing. I have been starting up a D&D inspired skirmish gaming project using Otherworld monsters etc, and now I can exclusively use Otherworld to maintain that old school D&D look and feel!

Also, a White and a Black Dragon are up for pre-order. I probably lack the modelling skills to build it so I may have to commission majorsmith to build and paint these for me at some point lol

And don't forget it's the last couple of days of the March sale.  Some great bargains to be had.

I have already placed a small order for the new adventurers.

There are some variants of the adventurers that were not in the indiego offer.
There is a variant of the new magician who looks like Merlin in the film Excalibur.

I like that the dragons have some good scale texture going on and conform to the D&D types. Except, that is, for the black dragon horns, which should be sticking forward rather than up. Given how many Grenadier dragons I'll probably be able to resist. I'm working on a few now, the William Watt copper, blue and black dragons in particular. Thankfully these OT ones are cool, but not so cool as to make me feel bad about finishing my own project. In fact I may still give the nod to the Grenadier ones if they were to face off.
