I am looking for some Asian things? for a vsf army, tanks, guns, commanders and do-dads.
I plan to use Redoubts Imperial Chinese regulars for infantry.
I know Scheltrum has two chinese rocket men.
they don't necessarily need to be Chinese just asian.

How about Mongolians? The Copplestone Back of Beyond Mongolians are using weapons older than the 1920's it's set in. Could add some nice colourful cavalry.

I would suggest the Copplestone Back of Beyond Chinese for Japanese VSF, as seen here for a start...

And my own Boxer Rebellion Japanese would certainly do (I've got some more coming out for Salute :) )

Maybe have a look at Spartan Games' Dystopian Legions- Empire of the Blazing Sun: http://shop.spartangames.co.uk/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1904

There's also two minis available separately in the parts section, that way you could get a sample and see if they work sizewise with the other minis you've planned buying.
Some of the urban War/ Metropolis Triad stuff might work as well with a bit of conversion work, e.g. these with smoke stacks (and possibly smoke plumes), a little boiler and some cables added:

The Spartan Games DL stuff is excellent, but they're too large to mix with other 28mm figures. :(

If you need a flying ship or some sort of Navy how about a Turtle ship like the Solar Powered one by Academy ?
I picked up a number of them cheap and if you leave out the motor you have a good base for a true "Iron Clad" leave off the oars and you have gun ports or leave them on for a more primitive (or slightly out dated) look.
As well as leaving out the motor I left off the small Solar panel as well the resulting gap in the roof is going to be a Wheel House and smoke stack, I also have a number of plastic containers shaped like fish that used to contain Soy Sauce about 7.5cm long tip to tail and about 4cm at the widest point going to either use them as some sort of torpedo (by adding a very small propeller) or maybe just lanterns/lamps. :)

There not that big, just 32mm. They mix ok with Copplestone and Redoubt.

Think this would be under "do-dads" part.

I'm looking at some 16th Japanese Ashigaru, possibly with head swaps, for my steam dragon flyers (Ral Partha/Crucible Dwarf Ornithopters). I think they'll look alright for 'altitude' suits.
Sometimes all you need a suitably vague explanation, what Jon Tuffley calls PSB.
Fortunately, my mates are VERY forgiving if they ever actually see me at the table. lol
