Title: Grey Horses
Post by: Wilkins on 01 April 2013, 06:55:29 PM
I'm painting a 15mm army for Waterloo and am having issues painting grey horses. This would have been less of an issue were I not painting the Scot's Greys at present. Any advice would be most appreciated!

Thanks

There are a couple of tips here (or try Goolge search):

I like the sponge wet-on-wet to get an instantly blended dapple look.  I work mostly in 25/28 however. I would think more contrast in your shades of grey to make 15 mm "pop".  Regards, Rob.

Games Workshop had a great guide online on their Mordheim-page. I don't know if it's still there though.

The Kevin dally ore foundry painting book has a great section on horses of all colours. You might find a PDF of it some where?
