Not yet finished. I have to paint shields and terrain.

Those are nice - I like the subtle highlighting. Thanks for sharing.
BTW, who is the manufacturer?
-
Thanks Mitch.
They are by Foundry, but the slinger that is Black Tree Design.
Emilio.
-
Very nice!! Looking forward to seeing more!!
-
Very nice figures! And you'll love Dux Brittaniarum. One of the most fun game- systems I've played for many years.
-
Good stuff 8).
I love the old Foundry Late roman range so i'm hoping to see more please.
Darrell.
-
No more Foundry I´m afraid. That one is a sample I got many years ago. All the ones I have now are Black Tree.

I like Black Tree. The variation in poses is really nice, and for something like Dux Brit, with small forces, I think it makes them look really individual.

I painted these three yesterday:
(http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww341/emosbur/Dux%20Britanniarum/P4141435.jpg) (http://s734.photobucket.com/user/emosbur/media/Dux%20Britanniarum/P4141435.jpg.html)
(http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww341/emosbur/Dux%20Britanniarum/P4141436.jpg) (http://s734.photobucket.com/user/emosbur/media/Dux%20Britanniarum/P4141436.jpg.html)
I got a problem with the slinger. The wash reacted bad with the paint. Not sure about the reason. I did´nt get this problem with the first three.

More lovely painted miniatures.

What kind of inks are you using? Sometimes Vallejo Game Color ones don´t work very well if the base colour is too bright. GW ones don't have that problem.
Cheers.
-
It is a house mix: 1/2 water, 1/2 Future and a bit of artist acrylic burnt sienna. May be the paint still fresh.
Emilio.
-
Three more painted yesterday:
(http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww341/emosbur/Dux%20Britanniarum/P4221455.jpg) (http://s734.photobucket.com/user/emosbur/media/Dux%20Britanniarum/P4221455.jpg.html)
(http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww341/emosbur/Dux%20Britanniarum/P4221454.jpg) (http://s734.photobucket.com/user/emosbur/media/Dux%20Britanniarum/P4221454.jpg.html)
I am not happy. I had problems with the flesh paint, the brush and again the wash. Hope the next will be better.
Emilio.

And this weekend, three more :D

They look good Emilio.
Are you using an Army-painter style dip, or a wash made from paint?
-
Is a home made wash: 1 part water, 1 part Future and a bit of tube acrylic paint burnt sienna colour.
Emilio.

This weekend, three more, again...
(http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww341/emosbur/Dux%20Britanniarum/P5131467.jpg) (http://s734.photobucket.com/user/emosbur/media/Dux%20Britanniarum/P5131467.jpg.html)

And again, not happy. The wash failed me again. :(

Now, I have a complete slinger unit and three levy units for Dux Britanniarum. Next, the armoured infantry.
Emilio.
-
Three more, the first armoured ones:
(http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww341/emosbur/Dux%20Britanniarum/P6181522.jpg) (http://s734.photobucket.com/user/emosbur/media/Dux%20Britanniarum/P6181522.jpg.html)

Nice, they look good! :)

Thanks Cyberalien.
Three armoured ones more, one is a leader:
(http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww341/emosbur/Dux%20Britanniarum/P6271554.jpg) (http://s734.photobucket.com/user/emosbur/media/Dux%20Britanniarum/P6271554.jpg.html)

Can I be so bold as to ask whaty camera you are usiong, the settings and whether the picture is cropped - nice figures and the photos are :D
-
I am using a OLYMPUS PEN E-PL1, set on an automatic Natural-Macro, with natural morning light. I tried with flash, but I don´t like the finish. I take the pic not at the shortest distance that the setting allows, but a bit further, and then I crop the pic. I feel that I get a better field deep this way. The mat is a Hotz mat for air wargaming, oversided.
Emilio.
-
And three more:
(http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww341/emosbur/Dux%20Britanniarum/P6271559.jpg) (http://s734.photobucket.com/user/emosbur/media/Dux%20Britanniarum/P6271559.jpg.html)
Emilio
-
This time I painted four: two leaders and two lancers.
(http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww341/emosbur/Dux%20Britanniarum/P7091564.jpg) (http://s734.photobucket.com/user/emosbur/media/Dux%20Britanniarum/P7091564.jpg.html)

Three more armoured soldiers:
(http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww341/emosbur/Dux%20Britanniarum/P7161573.jpg) (http://s734.photobucket.com/user/emosbur/media/Dux%20Britanniarum/P7161573.jpg.html)
(http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww341/emosbur/Dux%20Britanniarum/P7161574.jpg) (http://s734.photobucket.com/user/emosbur/media/Dux%20Britanniarum/P7161574.jpg.html)
Almost finished!
Emilio
-
Great work. You've painted a whole lot of them, so you've got quality and quantity. Something I could never manage.
-
Thanks. I fact, is the first time I paint so many figurines is so little time. I am three figurines short of finishing my warband.
Emilio.
-
Very nice work Emilio.
-
The last three!!
(http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww341/emosbur/Dux%20Britanniarum/P8031716.jpg) (http://s734.photobucket.com/user/emosbur/media/Dux%20Britanniarum/P8031716.jpg.html)

Now my warband is finished!!
Next, pics of the complete units.
Emilio.
