what? with so many 1/48 versions out there?

Great! Was waiting for this for a long time now, as 1:48 looks much to bulky next to my other stuff.

Which is great if you like how silly 1/48 looks next to 28mm
So is this going to be another £20 model truck?, something you need lots of for transportation and objectives but can afford 0 of?

What is the alternative? Plastic kits which are sold cheaper in bulk?
Or 3D printing?
btw, the model looks awesome - resin has come a long way (is it resin?)
I find it perfectly acceptable if people prefer 1/56 vehicles against the more spacious 1/48. After all, there is a good reason to not overcrowd a tabletop if one likes to game with many of them. I only find the terms "right" "wrong" "true" "false" and especially "scale" unapplyable for 28mm miniatures, and thus unacceptable when used in argumentation.
IMHO "like" and "prefer" are more useful.
Interesting enough, apparently people rarely argument with scales when it comes to buildings, which are almost never to scale in miniature wargaming. It appears to be acceptable to pose the miniatures of preference next to them and decide whether it looks good or not.
I must admit that I am a bit touchy on that matter since I have seen all too often miniatures denied the participation in games on account of "not to scale" "too large" "too small".....
But that's only me

1 alternative is drop your prices, an ipso blitz from warlord is £20, I can get an imported die waffenkammer deuce and a half for £18, or a 1/60 Studebaker from westwind for £15.
Considering trucks are bulk purchase items (despite the idiocy warlord once told me that nobody buys trucks) making them a £12-15 plastic kit does make sense, especially a £30-40 box of 3 with options galore
