if you do not already own one i urge you to go out and buy a pack of balsa, some card from the orders that morning free from the grocery store and a glue gun and get working. the things you can make if you imagine the structure first and just attack the build are mental. i have been building MORDHEIM terrain for me and my friends to play on.
please have a gander below.

NOTE the unpainted terrain is awaiting detailing. i am also preocupied building a 1:1 scale robot asuit for an actor in my final university film. if you fancy seeing pics of that too just say :)
honestly...the glue gun....a hidden saint.

There are times I wonder how I managed without my glue gun...poorly to be sure.
That aside, you are coming along VERY NICELY with your various building projects. Keep up the GOOD WORK...I'll be watching!

Agree 100% I recently pulled out my hot glue gun and started gluing chunks of moss and lichen to various bits of wood. Before I knew it I had more hedges than I knew what to do with!
Your stuff looks great -- please show us the finished terrain, too!

hey guys. been a long time and it is that kind of encouragement i need to get me motivated. i am bogged down at the moment finishing university but when i done i have lots of time. i aim to do a day where i build 50 structures in a day :)
will keep you all updated. and if anyone has any ideas for fantasy buildings with cool playability (my prime interest) or ways to make fantasy street fights better please share with me.

I built a poker-card sized Mordheim table out of cardboard and popsicle sticks in two days' time once because my buddies and I had a big urge to play Mordheim all of a sudden.
I built the entire packed table (with structures up to 12-14" tall)...and popsicle stick bridges...dusted all of it with various grey/brown spray paint...and we gamed the piss out of it.
Then when all was said and done, I threw it away a few weeks later (no room in my apartment). Cheap and effective. Not pretty but it really worked well.

I have both hobby/craft (low temperature) and a regular (high temperature) guns. I find the latter especially useful for raising blisters on the delicate skin of my hands!
