Brilliant! Apart from the obvious pigbombs the could be used as rescue pigs a la St Bernards in the Alps. :)

There is an urban myth about two telecommunication workers in the outback of Western Australia who thought it would be a good idea to strap some dynamite to a feral pig. The pig, once armed ran about for a bit then parked itself underneath their truck and blew it up! The guys then had to ring their boss and explain to him how their truck had exploded. Safe to say that they wouldn't have got a bonus that year. :D
Apologies for the off topic post but the pigs made me think of that story.
