Title: ...and is there honey still for tea?
Post by: redrob on April 12, 2013, 10:39:24 PM
I have started and decided to stop my VBCW collection - which is a bit annoying as I love the idea, but no-one to game with. some pics on my blog.

Nice figures. A similar problem for me - if anything it allows you to explore painting and modelling wise a what if.

However, based on what I've seen over the years - the 'war' allows many interwar mini-projects to get on the table. I am sure this period will last for a long time yet.

Depending on the tastes of those that you game with, you could try using your collection for something else in the period.

How about a British-based Strange Aeons campaign?
If you have all the humans, you would only need to get a couple of gribblies.
 ;)

It was my interest in VBCW, but no opponents that encouraged me to set my SA campaign in Blighty.
That way I could still paint the figures that I fancied for each genre.
