Nice work Old Coast :)
-
Hard choice.
Two lovely entries
-
Greetings
what a start. First entry and already a tie. :D Marvelous
I like the Rohirrim, they are colorful.
But the Resistance .. oh my. I like the minis (btw. who makes them?), and the color tone with the rover and the house is very fitting. Very well done.
Good luck both of you
Jo

I may not be Michelle of the Resistance, but I shall say this only once...
Why do such wonderful painters have to make it so hard to choose? lol
-
Bloody hell!
First match-up I look at, and already I cannot decide.
Great work, both of you!
:-*
Will have to come back to this one....
-
This is tough indeed. Lifelike subdued colours versus wonderfully bold colours seems to be a theme this round... ???
Thanks for two great entries guys, now to choose between them...
-
Fantastic Blackwolf, awesome as always.
Wow, there are alot of big names absent this year, only 8 of the top 20 returning
very glad to see you are back again!
-
is this the 1/48 Airfix Landrover in the background?
-
Stunning work, really hard to choose between these two entries!
Gah!
Cheers

Blackwolf, it's great to see you are back in the League! I look forward to your every entry! This one is great, the Land Rover looks a bit large next to the models but I'm sure it's less apparent on the table. The Rohirrim look great Old Coast! The painting is great and the colours are very well chosen, especially the green. The horses look great too!
-
Blackwolf back in action, the most unique LPL painter in my opinion. I can always tell which entry is yours... there's a certain tonality, along with realism and a great scene.
Good to see Old Coast back as well! Clean painting, great detail... love the bases. Well done :)
-
Love the subdued colors of Blackwolf and the bright colors of Old Coast.
-
Beautiful work Blackwolf - I'm trying to persuade the wife that we need a Landie and the one in your pic will do nicely! 8)
Loving the vivid colours and brushwork on the Rohirrim too!
-
Both very nice work, but really like the atmosphere on the resistance.

Wow, one of the hardest match-ups this round! Fantastic entries and careful paint jobs to both of you.
Lovely! :-* :-* :-*
-
A very difficult choice
2 superb entries
-
Both superb entries.
I looked at the photos before reading who had done each, but you can tell one of Blackwolf's photos as soon as you see it, that awesome and very distinctive cast to the light.
The horsemen are great, very clean with nice bases. Moving the figure case out of the background would have helped, mind you.
-
Cheers chaps for the kind words, and to Old Coast for a tough first round :)
The figures are Statuesque Miniatures.
The Landie is a toy as is the Mini Cooper (get a Landrover Thansants, perfect for a family with dogs and a classic to boot :)).
-
A tough choice, I really like the Sepia look of Blackwolfs entries, but the colourfull Rohirrim give very good Resitance (pun intended :p)
As always a nice backdrop complements good paintings skills very well and is (sadly) the only thing lacking a bit with the Rohirrim.
-
Very nice work ! A really tough choice !
-
Tough choice! o_o

2 superb entries but I really like the Resistance
-
Who makes those resistance figs????
Those are great ! :-*
-
I think they are Statuesque Miniatures?

Thanks again chaps :) Funny how one's work becomes recognisable ;)
Anyone notice the poster on the building? It's a women's land army recruitment poster from WWII :)
-
Congrats Blackwolf!!...hats to you!
-
Congrats Blackwolf!!...hats to you!
Thanks mate,and to you,cracking work :)
-
See this is why I love the LPL: two completely different subjects painted in contrasting styles but both very frothworthy! :-*
If my figures play a role all the better (love 'em, Guy)! lol
-
Thanks Andrew :) More to come ;)
