Title: 28mm Northwest Frontier
Post by: Stuart-H on April 14, 2013, 08:38:50 PM
We have just added the first packs for our 28mm Northwest Frontier Afghan tribesmen. These minis can be used from 17th Century India through the Anglo-Afghan Wars right up to the Interwar Years.

You can find them in the EMPIRE section of our webstore.

Beautiful figures with a most outstanding paint job, the colors are just so right on them.

I love these and will be making a purchase very soon. The NWF is a great subject for skirmish level type games and with these offerings along with the Empress stuff for later conflicts I've come to the decision that it's time to add to my meager Foundry range.

Hi Darrell,

Without doubt my favourite theatre of action is 2nd Anglo-Afghan War

That reminds me - i really must dig out my British Lancers.

Cheers James  :).

I'm going to have to find a good (and hopefully cheap-ish) source of Cork Bark before I proceed. Afghanistan on the table top just wouldn't look right without rocky hills, defiles and the odd Hill Fort to boot.

At a pinch they could be used as Ghazi's, some are similar to their namesake on the Mutineer Miniatures site:
