Available at Salute. Not on the website yet, but can't be long now.

Those are really nice! Who makes them Plynkes?
-
At last, and well worth the wait don't you think chaps.
-
I know I may sound completely uneducated, but...what are they? Are they Iron Man meets German Snipers?
-
Great War, by the look of them.
Really splendid. I have in mind a game of dueling snipers in the no-man's land - or a trench raiding detachment versus a single sniper...

Great War Miniatures

Sorry Darkoath, that would be Great War Miniatures German Snipers. I didn't say so because all the LAF Great War gamers have been waiting so long for them (and talking about them so much) I didn't think I needed to say what they were! :)

Hmmm! Might make for a good .45 game :)
-
New Minenwerfer and all, while we're about it...

Will be more in scale with the other figures I have than the midgety Foundry ones I have at the moment.
-
And you say that they will be released at Salute...hmmm, very tempting indeed

Don't forget the Frenchies
"The first of our 1914 French will also be on sale (so new, we haven't had chance to photograph them!). These are a set of officers and NCO's, and infantry advancing. A St. Etienne MG and more infantry will follow soon."

Seems they are being released at Salute, so they are not listed on the site yet. I expect they will be once Salute has come and gone.
-
Thanks Plynkes.
Hope my personal 'Mini-scout' will see them over at Salute and hunt them down for me - the Lead Pile is waiting

Everything always happens when I'm asleep :o
Thanks Poly 8)
GWM have really done the WW1 community proud with these lovely additions. Thankyou guys for the "Show and Tell".
The Germans are now well catered with mine throwers of different calibres.
I'm sure they did a Grimm figure of the standing sniper in cape and face mask 8) He looks the real deal!

Every time I look at the standing sniper with face mask I imagine painting him as a superhero...
:freak:
What uniform colours should the snipers get? Classic Field grey/grey? I don't think they used camo back in 14-18 apart from painting helmets?

First thought I had when I saw that figure was 'Nifty, new pulp villian!', but then, I'm not any sort of historicals gamer - pulp is a close as I get!
Very cool figures, regardless of what you use them for!

Message from Nick at North Star over on TMP
"Sorry everyone, we didn't get the castings to Dave Thomas who is carrying GWM at Salute. He does have the 2 new French packs and the German tank, but the mortar and Snipers will be available from Monday.
Nick"
