I've now added a brief report – and some pictures - of the Lance and Longbow Society demo game at last week's Salute show on my blog.

Brilliant stuff - well done to everybody involved :)

Excellent Simon. A lovely looking table - and beautiful figures, of course.
Good to catch up with you on the day, albeit briefly - did you actually manage to get a pause for breath all day? ;)
Cheers.

The game looked excellent in the flesh :)

SA-weet! :-*
Things I love:
- The bowmen in the river. How awesome is that?
- The trampled areas on either side of the bridge head. Thoughtful detail.
- The trained bear in the French camp.
BrA-vo!

Dear Simon,
I admire the complete look with the camps, grave diggers and the artillery stockade. I want to add some of these details to my Burgundians and Swiss.
Can you help me?
As far as I can see, most of the figures are Perry Orleans with a few labourers and artillerymen from the Perry WOTR range. There are some men carrying boxes – are they conversions?
Where did the buildings and the tents come from?
Where did you get the small stuff – wheelbarrow, chests, barrels and jugs?
Thanks
Mick

That river looks fantastic.

Here's what I can recall are the sources for the 'bits and bobs':
tents - Steve Barber Models & Baudea
jugs, boxes etc - Foundry have packs with groups of bits. Individual items try Front Rank, Mirliton, Bicorne. wheelbarrow maybe Foundry?
Two Guys carrying chest between them - Foundry HYW (dress will be a little early for later 15th century, if you need to be 'accurate') Guys with sack and box are Foundry too.
Other labourers - Perry WR range and waggoners from various wagons are good. Foundry do some HYW peasants.
Hope that helps,
Simon.

I also really like these - 1/72nd scale but i think they'd fit and plan on getting some soon - the Nikoli bits.
